Impact of Adelson's Model on Acquiring Certain Biological Concepts by Second-grade Intermediate Students

Abstract
The current research aims to identify the impact of the Adelson model on acquiring certain biological concepts by second-grade intermediate students. To verify this aim, the researcher used a quasi-experimental design with two equivalent groups: experimental and control. The samples entail (60) students, selected from two government intermediate schools for the academic year (2023-2024). Thirty students from Tawa Intermediate School were taught according to the Adelson model, and thirty from Al-Jawadeen Intermediate School were taught according to the conventional method. The researcher ensured equivalence between the two groups in several variables and prepared special educational plans for both the experimental and control groups. After completing the experiment, the research tool was applied, data was collected, and statistical analysis was performed using the t-test for two independent samples. The results showed that the students in the experimental group outperformed those in the control group. In light of these results, the researcher recommended a series of recommendations and proposals.
