Abstract

This research tries to examine the most important developments that accompanied the introduction in the Abbasid era, the golden age in which civilization and development reached the highest levels of sophistication and prosperity, as well as the most important changes in the poem through two aspects, the traditional one in which the poet remained committed to the ancient traditions of ruins and crying at home, followed by the purpose of the poet , and the renewal, which represents the introduction of the Abbasid poem that carries the potentials of creativity and diversity of poetic purposes, this part in which the poet begins directly for the purpose of the poem, such as the wine introduction that was common in the Abbasid era, flirtation, praise, psychological and other purposes, as well as the research presented a presentation of the poet Abu al-Atahiyya his life, and his cultural career, approaching his poetic experience and his most prominent compositions, and analyzing poetic models in which reflect the developments of the introduction in the Abbasid era, employing the two strands in his texts, it has been linked to the traditional introductions and launched from him in traditional texts, renewing other poetic features in his style.
