Abstract

Numerous stylistic terms, concepts, and operational mechanisms exist, among which displacement is one of the most renowned, particularly within the realm of modern poetry. Poetic language markedly diverges from other forms, such as scientific language, which predominantly employs a direct reporting method, minimizing interpretative elements. This approach presents the audience with a singular indication, regardless of their diverse backgrounds and cultural contexts.  This phenomenon is inverted in poetry, where the art form relies on the language's fortuity in conveying meaning, often being suggestive yet necessarily so. This characteristic invites the audience into a realm of diverse interpretations dictated by the language's phonetic, morphological, synthesized, or semantic qualities. The poet endeavors to captivate the audience and enhance the poem through various techniques to realize this objective.   Displacement is a crucial element in poetry that has emerged in modern literature, despite its roots in ancient heritage. Like many phenomena associated with contemporary poetry, displacement manifests in Arabic literature across various dimensions, including rhetorical, synthetic stylistic, and presentational levels.
