The researcher prepared a training program in the light of the topics chosen by the experts and arbitrators, teaching methods, appropriate strategies, accompanying activities, learning methods, and evaluation methods. The researcher verified its validity by presenting it to a group of experts and arbitrators. In order to identify the effectiveness of the training program based on digital geographic applications for graduate students in developing visual thinking, the researcher adopted a single-group design with a pre- and post-test. The research sample includes (20) postgraduate students at Tikrit University, Department of Geography.  The researcher prepared a tool to measure the variable of his research. The tool was a test in visual thinking consisting of (40) items.
