The Causes of Maternal Fetal Deaths in Balad and Samarra Districts in 2023

Abstract
This study is one of the geographical studies that revolves around the population area. One of the objectives of the study is to identify the spatial analysis of fetal deaths in the districts of Balad and Samarra. The results are determined by the data obtained from the death records in the birth and death offices in those administrative units and their subdivisions, as well as the questionnaire used for the study. Among the most important results is the occurrence of 336 fetal deaths due to maternal causes, of which 103 died, are chronic diseases, with a rate of 31% which is the highest percentage in the study compared to other diseases. Then, it is followed by psychological disorders which scored 89 with a rate of 26%. As for the last rank, it was the share of overweight diseases as it recorded 14 cases with a rate of 4%.
