Abstract

Nineveh Governorate is renowned for its permaculture and is considered a significant agricultural region. The majority of its lands rely only on rainfall for irrigation. The governorate has a total area of 12,581,878 million dunums, with 5,660,625 million dunums being non-arable land, accounting for 45% of the governorate's total area. The agricultural land in Nineveh is 6,921,253 million dunums, which accounts for 55% of the total area. The objective of the research is to examine the agricultural economic services provided in Nineveh Governorate and assess their influence on enhancing agricultural output, improving its quality, attaining self-sufficiency, and promoting agricultural growth. The utilization of advanced technologies in agricultural production necessitates the significance of economic services due to their direct influence on agricultural operations, ultimately leading to the desired agricultural development. This is primarily attributed to the widespread availability and effectiveness of these services in Nineveh Governorate. The primary services are transportation modes, agricultural promotion, storage facilities, and water sources. Underground and aboveground agricultural services and animal feed. The availability and use of agricultural services differ among locations, depending on their degree of accessibility and the potential for economic exploitation. These services aim to enhance the efficiency and quality of agricultural output, as well as attain self-sufficiency in agricultural products.
