The Chastity of the Prophet of Allah Yusuf in the Old Testament and the Noble Qur’an and Its Impact on Young People
Main Article Content
Abstract
This research deals with the modernity of the chastity of the Prophet of Allah Yusuf, whose story was mentioned in the Torah and the Holy Qur’an, and the impact of this chastity on young people in this era. He came to restrain disobedience with his dear woman, and the Torah preceded the Holy Qur’an in terms of chronology in the statement of his chastity, and the Holy Qur’an came to show the absolute certainty of the chastity of this Prophet to be a model for the youth after him, in this time and with the wide spread of websites and the diversity of their technologies that provided seclusion between the sexes. Therefore, his story draws inspiration as pillars guiding the young man in our time and we urgently need chastity and the accompanying moral commitment to be models and leaders for each other in order to protect themselves and others with their chastity and sincerity to their Lord and obedience to Him as the Prophet of Allah Yusuf did when all the means of disobedience were made available to him.
