Abstract

The importance of the study lies in the fact that friendship is a sophisticated human social relationship, which is an expression of a wonderful human connection, and a wonderful masterpiece of integration and interdependence between human beings, through which bridges of understanding and dialogue are built between them. The field of human relations, and therefore its importance comes in the first place after family ties and family relations. In fact, friendship, nowadays, is priceless, not measured by any measure, nor weighed by any measure, it is greater than all these things, it is like an incandescent lamp illuminating the way for those who walk in life, and life without friendship is like a tree without fruits .

There is no doubt that the legal texts contained therein, the Qur’an and Sunnah, related to friendship and brotherhood, took great care of this relationship, clarifying the rights and etiquette of friendship, and dedicating a large space to it and a wide space within it, considering that this relationship is one of the lofty human relations, and human bonds, Which if it is built on a stable and strong course, it serves the mind, heart and life of man, leaving behind a strong influence on many aspects of his inner and outer life alike.
