The Historical Role of Women in Early Islam

Abstract
After women were persecuted in the pre-Islamic era and their rights were robbed, Islam came to change the path of women, as it honored her and granted her many rights, as women appeared in those days. In that period, women lived in a time before Islam and the era of the Islamic message, and they had a prominent role in the historical events that appeared in the era of the message, such as the great poet Al-Khansa (000 - 24 AH = 645 000 AH), when she realized Islam and became Muslim. She went to the Messenger of God (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him) with her people, Bani Sulaym. The Messenger of God used to seek her advice and admire her poetry, so she would sing and he would say: Hey, Khansa! Khawla bint Al-Azwar (000 - about 35 AH = 000 - about 655 AD) the great Companion poet and sister of Dirar ibn al-Azwar was famous for her courage and beauty. She fought desperately with them, until she freed her brother, Dirar, and the rest of the Muslim prisoners in the battle of Ajnadayn between the Muslims and the Romans,
