Abstract

The problem of South Sudan is of great importance in contemporary history, as it emerged as the most important issue that left an impact on its history and its general situation on the various political regimes that successively ruled the country, which in turn was reflected on the Sudanese people, and many regional and international positions were taken regarding the problem (which occurred between the south and the north of Sudan) and the positions were as required by the interest of each country towards Sudan, in addition to the intervention of many countries in the problem of Sudan, especially by fabricating it or after its occurrence, and those interventions had a great impact on the continuation and escalation of the problem and the delay in the existence of solutions to it, hence the reason for choosing the title The study (Iraq's position on the problem of South Sudan 1956-2011), to clarify what is Iraq's position on the problem and whether this continued from its beginning to its end (1956-2011), so the study was divided into an introduction, three topics and a conclusion.
