psychological loneliness among university students

Abstract
The current research aims to identify the psychological loneliness of university students according to the gender variable, To achieve this, an appropriate scale was adopted with the nature of the current study, which was prepared by (Russell, 1996) the localization and codification of Magdy El-Desouky, The scale was destroyed in its final form after completing the conditions of honesty, stability and ability to distinguish from (20) items, Quadrant. The researcher applied the scale to a random sample of (420) male and female students. The results of the research showed that the research sample had a medium degree of psychological loneliness and there was no difference between them. As well as the presence of statistically significant differences between males and females in psychological unity and in favor of females. In light of the results, the researcher made some recommendations and suggestions.
