Abstract

This paper handles Ahmad bin Yahya Saad al-Din al-Taftazani (d 916 AH) work. This paper  follows the approach of investigation. The researcher summarizes the findings as follows:

*When transcribing, I used modern spelling rules, punctuation marks, and any spelling errors I find in the text of the manuscript, which I corrected without indicating that in the margin.

*I attributed the Qur’anic verses cited by the author to its surah, by mentioning the name of the surah and the number of the verse, but in the text because of its high status as the word of Almighty Allah.  I defined jurisprudential and linguistic terms and ambiguous places.

*I was keen to abide by scientific honesty in mentioning the sayings of scholars from their approved sources, and sometimes resorted to modern references when old sources were not possible.

*The manuscript is in the Hanafi school, which is one of the most important schools of jurisprudence for which acceptance has been written. Verifying a Sharia book is something to be proud of that is the name of the investigator is associated with that scholar.

*The author's lack of fanaticism towards a scholar or stagnation for a particular doctrine, and we find this through his presentation of the sayings of the owners of other sects that contradict and agree, which clearly shows the capacity of the Prophet's Sunnah by mentioning the sayings of the jurists and stopping at the easiest ones.
