Abstract

The current study aimed to determine the degree of social adjustment of migrants returning to their Homeland. It also aims to determine the degree of psychological, social and economic adjustment of migrants in the area of their migration, and to understand the difficulties faced by returnees from the diaspora in absorbing their communities of origin. Furthermore, the study aims at comparing the opinions of immigrants and their families about their current situation, and revealing the reality of social interaction between displaced families on the left and the right. and identify the basic forms of social interaction. The study sample was 500 randomly selected from Salah al-Din governorate in the city of Tikrit. The researcher concludes the following results: 1- Many of the returnees from displacement do not feel satisfied with their return because the conditions the country is going through, such as declining security situation and poor services.... Etc., 2- Displacement has many negative effects on the psychological situation of the immigrant person. 3- The negative effects of displacement on the returnees are more than the positive effects. This is what generated psychological symptoms as it had an impact on their adaptation in those migrating countries as well as Concern for the parents, because the authority at that period used the harshest means of torture and cruelty against the families of immigrants, 4- The poor standard of living of families returning from the diaspora compared to their situation in the diaspora, which affects their adaptation in society, as the spread of unemployment, poor services and the absence of good legal legislation that do justice to The stubborn ones made them live a poor standard of living compared to their living situation in the diaspora.
