The melodic and rhythmic characteristics in the songs of Nazem Al-Ghazali

Abstract
The research includes a study of the melodic and rhythmic characteristics of the Baghdadi song of the artist Nazem Al-Ghazali، since the Baghdadi song is considered one of the ancient Iraqi heritage، and that Nazem Al-Ghazali is one of the most important singers who were distinguished by singing this authentic Baghdadi color، and he has an important role in the development and dissemination of the Baghdadi song locally and abroad.
The (methodological framework) dealt with the presentation of the research problem and the need for it، its importance، its aim، and the limits of its research، which included the songs of (Nazim Al-Ghazali) as a human limit، to reveal its melodic and rhythmic characteristics، and to define the terms included in the research. The (theoretical framework) included three topics، the first: melody and rhythm، The second: The Baghdadi song، and the third: Nazem Al-Ghazali.
As for the research procedures، the researcher relied on the analytical descriptive approach، and the research community included (24) samples، as they represent the most popular songs of Nazem Al-Ghazali. Musical analysis) of the selected samples، followed by the results of the analysis، through which conclusions were reached based on the objectives required in this research، followed by a list of sources and a summary in English.
