Abstract

The current research aims to identify the social integration of the students of the internal departments at the University of Tikrit. Also, it aims at finding the statistically significant differences in the social integration of the students of the internal departments at the University of Tikrit according to the specialization variable (scientific, human). In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher built a scale (social integration), consisting of (36) items, and each item has (5) alternatives.  200 students majoring in science, and (200) students majoring in humanities were selected as a sample of the study.  The results of the research showed that the students of the internal departments at the University of Tikrit enjoyed social integration, and there were statistically significant differences according to the specialization variable (scientific - human) in favor of the scientific specialization.
