Abstract

The current research aims to identify the causes of distraction among intermediate school students from the teachers' point of view. The research community consists of 100 intermediate school teachers in Kirkuk Governorate for the academic year 2021-2022. The questionnaire of the study is consisted of 23 items. It was relied upon the researcher used statistical methods, Pearson's correlation, degree of intensity and percentage. The coefficient of stability of the resolution was 0.82 among the results of the research are: the paragraph (when he feels cold he loses his focus on attention) ranked first in the questionnaire with an intensity of (2.98) as a main reason. When a student feels cold and uncomfortable, he gets distracted and is unable to focus on the subject. While the paragraph of being criticized by others makes him lose focus got the last rank in the questionnaire after obtaining an intensity score of (206).
