Abstract

Linguistically, praying is defined as the invocation for goodness. Its religious meaning does not depart from the linguistic one because of its interconnectedness with invocation. It is marked by definite speeches and acts, it starts with announcing God’s greatness and ends with salutation. The seven pillars of this pray are standing up, the opening takbeer, and reciting Surat Al-Fatihah. Reciting Al-Fatihah, bowing, standing from bowing, standing still when rising from bowing, prostrating, rising from prostration, sitting between the two prostrations and being at ease, and the last tashahhud, sitting for the tashahhud and the two tasleems, and the two tasleems, and in order.
