Abstract

The study aimed to mention the tourist places in Medina during the Ottoman era, and since Medina included a large number of religious and cultural monuments, it attracted many researchers, historians and tourists, who visited it to know those places, and it was mentioned in their writings, who described it as the most beautiful The descriptions, which they saw as beautiful, good places with many trees and palm trees, are not devoid of running water in most of their places, and they also mentioned many customs and traditions that the people of Medina had when they traveled and visited those places, which were often customs and traditions Praiseworthy, such as balance in food, drink and clothing, not mixing, and commitment to worship, so that most of those tourist and archaeological sites at that time were near mosques, or mosques were built near them because they were keen to perform the obligatory prayers.


As for the tourist places, they varied between mountainous places, valleys, gardens, and orchards, where tourists and hikers go out to mountainous places in the summer, that is, when the weather is mild, and to the plains in spring and summer, and to gardens and orchards throughout the days of the year.


The research (tourist places in Madinah during the Ottoman era) consisted of four sections: I spoke in the first about: the customs and traditions of the people of Madinah in visiting tourist places, and the remaining three sections are about: tourist places in Madinah, which are: mountains, And valleys, gardens and orchards, and then the research concluded with a conclusion that is a set of conclusions that the researcher reached.
