the Proactive Personality of University Students and its Relation to Some Variables

Abstract
The research aims to measure the level of the proactive personality among Mosul University students and to identify the significance of the difference in the proactive personality according to the gender variable (males and females), the specialization variable (scientific, humanistic), and the class variable (first and fourth). The research sample reached 600 male and female students from the first and fourth grades of Mosul University colleges in both specialties (scientific and humanistic) (males-females). The researcher used the proactive personality measure prepared by (Abdul Hamid, 2019).
1- The research sample does not have a proactive personality.
2- There were no statistically significant differences between the proactive average persons achieved among the members of the research sample according to variables (gender - scientific specialization – grade).
The researcher came up with a set of recommendations and suggestions in the light of his findings.
