Scientific and Technical Cooperation between Iraq and Democratic Germany 1969-1976

Abstract
Iraq witnessed an openness during the seventies of the twentieth century, as it was a state that had weight on all Arab and international levels. Its economic and cultural relations with the socialist bloc, especially with the socialist bloc, especially with the democratic Germany, witnessed a distinct development in its foreign policy in accordance with the requirements of that stage of economic and cultural construction requirements. Hence, Iraq aspired to establish strong and developed relations with the German Democratic Republic.
