Two models of interdisciplinary in psychotherapy: Client-Centered Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing(EMDR)

Abstract
Interdisciplinary in psychotherapy is one of the first applications that were used in psychology. Since Freud introduced psychotherapy to the world at the end of the nineteenth century, the first hints of interdisciplinary among various disciplines have been set target. Research aims: to identify support factors, obstacles, and paths to reach interdisciplinary among the methods and techniques of psychotherapy, adopting Client-Centered Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing(EMDR)., two models that represent that integration .Procedures: The researcher reviewed the literature research, and scientific sources on interdisciplinary in psychotherapy and from point of view of Client-Centered Therapy, and (EMDR).Results: There are 8 support factors the most prominent of them is theoretical extremism, 5 obstacles, and 5 paths to reach interdisciplinary . As well as the two models where adopted in this research have been integrated with studies in neuroscience and spiritual studies. Conclusions: The integration in psychotherapy represents the fourth force in integration movement. Recommendations: Utilizing the integration in psychotherapy process in psychiatry and the education sector in Iraq. Suggestions: Conducting researches to integrates the knowledge output of the Arabic and Islamic heritage with methods of counseling and psychotherapy, and researches to employ arts such as theater, painting and folk literature in counseling and psychotherapy.
