Carrying on the meaning in the words of the Noble Qur’an / Surat Al-Hijr and An-Nahl by choice
Main Article Content
Abstract
Carrying the meaning on another meaning is due to the similarity between the two words in the figurative meaning. This is due to the necessity of having a verbal or intangible presumption indicating the word, so the confusion is secured with it. When we say: The lion came, this indicates a predatory animal, but when we say: The lion came carrying the banner of victory in his hand, then its meaning will be carried on strength and courage. The existence of words that have come in their formal form singular, but they are carried to the meaning of the plural. This is one of the miracles of the Qur’an that incapacitated all the Arabs. Because the meanings are stronger and more honorable in her, and the most luxurious in her soul, with the aim of reaching the integrity of the structure, and the improvement of meaning. Therefore, carrying on the meaning has a great intention that indicates the appropriateness of the situation or the context that the Qur’anic scene depicts, and this comes due to the severity of the situation, or the beauty of the words.
