Abstract

The trips are considered as one of the most important historical sources, so I chose to study the books of the Jewish traveler Benjamin Al-Tali al-Andalusi about Palestine through his journey to Palestine in the 6th/ 12th century AD, The importance of this topic lies in the fact that it is looking at the notes  traveler wrote about Palestine during the era of crusader control, These notes count the number of Jews in the cities he visited and to identify their conditions. Moreover, it reflects the perception of Jewish travellers about the conflict between Islam and Christianity on the land of Palestine, which dealt with the biography of the traveler Benjamin Al-Tatli, the history of his journey, its path, its objectives and whatever about Palestine and its cities and the Jewish presence there.
