Oral Text’s Coherence from a Cognitive and Sociological Perspective: AN Indicative Model of Abu-Albbas Thaa’lab’s Rules of Poetry

Abstract
This study deals with textual coherence in oral discourse according to a sociological and cognitive vision. The study deals with the sociology of knowledge, it is that field of knowledge that is concerned with the study of intellectual and mental products by linking them to the social reality and the prevailing intellectual pattern in society, and this is based on the existence of a dialectical relationship linking awareness to society.
The linguistic sign in the oral discourse is characterized by a horizontal or temporal character, as required by the oral nature of the language in which a person cannot control the utterances except when the sign is a linear sequence and an extension of sounds. Therefore, it is necessary to use means of memorization and subtraction, and one of these most important means is writing. The Rules of Poetry by Abu Al-Abbas Tha’lab (291) sets a model for the victory of orality , and it was an early attempt to formulate rules for the text
