Main Article Content
Abstract
Andalusia history material had derived its resources from many branches like Arab poetry as a historical document saturated with social, military and political events, in some cases poetry become the only and unified source to acknowledge important historical eras of the Muslims history in Andalusia and by here we mean Granada on the basis that is an important historical era were its historical material was downtrodden and messed with considering the retaliation operations and books burning and everything else related to its heritage, as a result to the loss of many books and Andalusia resources that dealt with it, especially after the fall by the hands of Christian Mamalik whom assaulted the Islamic artifacts in both material and ideology as well as entombing what was left of the Islamic edifice in Andalusia.
Hitherto, we will realize the importance of poetry in documenting historical events and through authenticating the genuinely the poem of "Andalusia Wail" of Dakoon and what has been mentioned in it of spread historical facts in Andalusia poetry in its late phases, that needs above all certainty more discussions and advanced research in the Andalusia Poetry collections to stand upon facts and events that will and without doubt dissipating some of the forgotten issues engulfing both eighth & ninth centuries A.D.
The study is divided into two sections, the first is related to the era of the author and his life "Biography" and the second section deals with the poem itself and its rooting.
