Demographic changes of the population of Tikrit 1947-2030

Abstract
The city of Tikrit has witnessed during the past decades a demographic change in the size of its population since 1947, as its population reached 5788 people, rising to 140,901 people in 2019, and an annual growth rate of 2.8% annually with the variation in its growth rates during this period, and the period 1965-1977 ranked. The first growth rates reached 8.5% annually and the subsequent period 1977-1987 (6.5%), which means that it doubled more than once every ten years, which requires planning to accommodate these population sizes and increases, and it is expected that its population will be in 2030 ( 184576) inhabitants
