Attitude Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt from the Peace Process Between Egypt and the Zionist Entity 1970-1981

Abstract
In the seventies of the twentieth century, Egypt witnessed many changes at the various political, military, economic and social levels, whether at the local, regional or international levels. The peace process with the Zionist Entity was the most important and prominent event that Egypt undergone through several developments and stages, ranging between war, negotiations and finally peace. It left major effects and repercussions on the course of the Arab- the Zionist Entity conflict in particular, and Arab and international relations in general. The process was met with great controversy in the Egyptian domestic political circles, and the Muslim Brotherhood, as the largest and most important group of political Islam in Egypt, interacted significantly with that process. It took its position on it according to its vision, interests, and intellectual and ideological perceptions, naturally influenced by the religious factor. This study expanded the statement and monitored the opposing position taken by the Brotherhood regarding the peace process with the Zionist Entity and its motives and justifications. However, the Egyptian government did not pay any attention to the objection of the Muslim Brotherhood and others. It went on the path of the peace process with the Zionist Entity despite the difficulties it faced.
