Abstract

The research aimed to identify (the effect of the note-taking strategy on the achievement of the fourth literary students in literature and texts).


The research sample consisted of (62) female students from the fourth literary class in a secondary school for girls in the city of Ramadi/ Anbar Governorate Center for the academic year (2019 - 2020), and distributed equally into two groups: experimental and controlling by (31) students in each group, after having The researcher rewarded statistically between them in the variables (time age, intelligence test, language ability test, and previous information test), and she prepared a test for the achievement of (40) objective paragraphs of the type of "multiple choice with four alternatives", and she verified his honesty and consistency, and after The experiment ended and the test was applied to students of the two research groups. The results showed:


There is a statistically significant difference between the average scores of students of the experimental group who studied with the note-taking strategy and the average scores of students of the experimental group who studied in the usual way in the achievement test in favor of students of the experimental group.
