Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the effect of the Marzano model on the achievement of second-grade intermediate students and the development of their visual thinking , the research community included students of the second intermediate grade in secondary and middle schools in the city center of Mosul for the academic year (2018-2019), a random sample was chosen In Zuhur Intermediate School for Boys, it consisted of (56) students, (28) students as an experimental group and (28) students as a control group, and the two research groups were equivalent in a number of variables. The two research tools were prepared, which include an achievement test consisting of (30) objective paragraphs. And a test for visual thinking, which consisted of (25) paragraphs after making sure of the validity of the two tools and distinguishing their paragraphs and their stability, and after applying the experiment, the two research tools were applied to the students of the two groups, and the results of the research showed the superiority of the experimental group students who studied according to Marzano’s model over the control group students who studied according to the usual method for the achievement and visual reasoning tests, and in statistical terms, and in light of these results, the two researchers developed a set of conclusions, recommendations and proposals.
