A Verification Study of the Origin of the Idol of Manat

Abstract
This study deals with the origin of the idol Manat from a verification perspective. It is brief and important one as it sheds the light on a well-known idol in the Arab peninsula where it was worshipped by people in general and tribe of quraish in particular. Due to its sanctity, Arab pagans made particular rites similar to that in Mecca in the building, sacredness and roaming around. Additionally, they had other rites they performed to glorify this idol till the order given by prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) to demolish this idol, Allah is worshipped and Islamic rites are performed.
