Abstract

There is no doubt that sarcasm is a phenomenon that has a critical dimension with an impact which is clearly reflected on literary life and society as well. The story of modern Arab literature is an entertainment of the self aims at reforming. The narrative rhythm constitutes a base upon which the matrix of the creative genre of fiction is based. It is through this particular base; that the fictional genre is developed. It becomes capable of gathering fact with fiction by means of a chronological rhythm and sarcasm—a matter that opens new horizons for the reader and thus enables him to determine his literary location.  The study aims at examining the direct connection between the writer\storyteller and his community.  Furthermore, it aims at elaborating on division of women and their conducts within one particular society and the way these conducts are determined by humanitarian instincts and desires. These issues are examined under the umbrella of rhythmic narrative that determines the whole process of narration.
