Abstract
Dr. Fadel Saleh Al-Samarrai stopped on the meanings of the letters and carefully monitored them to show us the precise connotations depending on the context and the denomination in which the letter was mentioned. His measurement in all of this is which is meaning is concerned with showing the meaning which led to going away from the old grammarians. His opinions in meanings of prepositions were directed according to the meaning and most of it contradict the opinions of grammarians as in (ela) “to” which does not deviate from the meaning of the ending, and the assignment of the (taa) to the word of almighty (Allah), and the “jerr” according to him is not in the omitted (rubb), but rather by (waw), and the (kaf) is not an extra, and (min) has the general meaning of the initiatives, for these letters are directed by al-Samarrai according to the meaning, and he wants to keep the letter in its original meaning, and accordingly the search revolves around the opinion of al-Samarrai by presenting it first, and then listing the opinions of the grammarians to show how close or far al-Samarrai is from them, and the conclusion is by conciliation between opinions or the weighting of one over the other.
