The Effect of Using the Historical Evidence Strategy on the Achievement of Second-Grade Intermediate Students in the Subject of Social Studies and the Development of Their Critical reading skill

Abstract
The current research aims to find out the effect of using the strategy of historical evidence on the achievement of intermediate second-grade students in the subject of sociology and the development of their critical reading skill.
The two researchers followed the experimental design of two equal experimental and control groups by pre and post test. The research community consisted of middle and high school students for boys in the morning study and affiliated to the General Directorate of Education in Salah al-Din Governorate / Department of the role for the academic year (2020-2021 AD). To implement the experiment, the researchers chose Intentionally, the Secretary of the Nation's medium because of the presence of two divisions in it and its proximity to the place of residence, and the school administration cooperated with the researchers in order to complete the research.
(30) students. Division (B) represented the control group and the number of its students was (30) students. The two researchers conducted parity between the experimental and control groups in some of the variables that affect the results of the experiment, including (intelligence, degrees of the previous year, parental achievement level, and chronological age calculated.
