The Effect of a Realistic Treatment Program in Relieving Psychological Pain among Divorced Students at Tikrit University

Abstract
This study aimed to invistigate the effect of the realistic therapeutic program in relieving psychological pain among divorced students at Tikrit University. The research sample included (40) students who were chosen intentionally. The research sample was divided into control and experimental groups by (20) students for each group and the proposed program was applied On the experimental research sample, the researcher chose the psychological pain scale to measure the level of psychological pain, which aims to reduce psychological pain among divorced students. The realistic treatment program, which consists of 10 treatment sessions with two sessions per week, which aims to replace negative thoughts. The researcher used the T-test for two interconnected and independent samples in the statistical analysis. The results of the research showed that there are statistically significant differences between the experimental group and the control group and with a statistical significance of (0,05) and in favor of the experimental group after its members received training in the method of realistic treatment, and in the light of the research results developed a set of recommendations and proposals.
