Al-Tahawi and his modern efforts to explain the meanings of antiquities

Abstract
Imam Abu Ja`far Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Salama al-Tahawi (d. 321 AH), is the diligent scholar of Hanafi jurisprudence, and the great Hadith, the author of famous books. He explained the meanings of antiquities, and explained the problem of antiquities, and has shed light on the difference in his name, birth and death, and the most correct statement from them. In addition to an inductive statistic for the elders who were narrated from them in explaining the meanings of the antiquities, the translations of his pupils for whom there was a mention in the books of biographies, the sayings of scholars therein, the statement of his printed, manuscript and lost scientific effects, and an inductive statistic of his critical statements in the wound and modification.
