Abstract

The study aims at highlighting certain terms that are relevant to the differences of academic ambitions among male and female university’s students. The identified tool is that one of academic resilience which is divided into 50 positive and negative clauses. The questionnaire is applied to a sample of 150 male and female students at Tikrit university. Choosing the data in such an arbitrary way, they are analyzed statistically and thus the study concludes the followings: University students have good levels of academic resilience and there is a positive relationship between Academic resilience and cognitive beliefs.
