Abstract

This study examined an important aspect of the political history of Yemen in the middle of the seventeenth century.  Due to the important events that Yemen witnessed during that period, which were represented by the control of the Ottoman Empire over Yemen. These events lasted for nearly hundred years, then followed by the most important and dangerous stage in the history of Yemen, which is the subject of our study. The history of Yemen tackled in this study is represented by the emergence of the Qasimiya state, which was the policy that it was followed in Yemen after its establishment, along with the emergence of political forces, which played an important and prominent role in the history of Yemen during that period.
