Abstract

Arab proverbs have an important position among scholars, as we find them classified in them the compilations, and took care of their echo in the Noble Qur’an. Proverbs in the Noble Qur’an are divided into two types: the first: the explicit proverbs, and the second: the non-explicit proverbs, and the latter is divided into two parts: the first: latent proverbs, and the second: Sent proverbs; In examining the beauty and importance of the topic in general and the underlying proverbs in particular, we see that an aspect of this topic should be highlighted in the Holy Qur’an, and we choose Surat al-Baqarah. Because of the large number of proverbs in it, and we focus in our study on the latent proverbs, and we divided the research into two topics: The first: To define briefly the parable, Surat Al-Baqarah, and Sheikh Al-Shaarawi and its interpretation, and the second study: to clarify the examples inherent in Surat Al-Baqarah, which the commentators referred to, and to know how Sheikh Al-Shaarawi benefited from it in calling to God Almighty.
