Abstract

This research aims to reveal the spatial variation of the quality of life in the Tikrit, relying on two main dimensions: the objective dimension, which measures the educational, economic and social status and the other objectives which are measurable indicators, and the subjective dimension, which deals with life satisfaction, a sense of happiness and social well-being. A set of objective indicators has been used to identify patterns of spatial variation and measure differences between the neighborhoods of the, with the aim of supporting decision makers in developing policies to improve the quality of life.

1.The research results revealed that there are obvious spatial disparities between the neighborhoods of Tikrit in the quality of life levels, where the overall rate of the quality of Life Index was calculated and compared to the standard deviation rate. It was found that the group of neighborhoods with high service indicators was the most influential in determining quality levels, where the probability value reached (0.000), which indicates a strong statistical significance in favor of these indicators.

2.The results also show that group A of the neighborhoods was the best in terms of quality of life, followed by Group B, while Group C recorded the lowest levels. The value of the Social Integration Index (I-T) in Group A was 84%, compared to 56% in Group C, reflecting the strong influence of Service and social indicators in determining the quality of life levels.

Based on this, the use of spatial indicators is an effective tool in diagnosing urban problems, determining development priorities, and making recommendations directed at improving living conditions in neighborhoods with low indicators.
