Reading Ibn Masoud in the interpretation of Ibn Attia / Surat Al-Nisa as a model collection and study
Main Article Content
Abstract
The scholars of interpretation dealt with part of the Qur’anic readings in their interpretations, and among these surahs is Surat al-Nisa, and it is called Surat al-Ahkam, and it is civil according to the opinion of most of the commentators, and it is sixteen thousand and thirty letters, three thousand seven hundred and forty-five words, and one hundred and seventy-six verses, except for one verse that was revealed. In Makkah in the year of the conquest of Othman bin Talha, and it was said that the surah was revealed when the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, migrated from Mecca to Medina, and its beginning was in Medina, and the scholars agreed that Surah al-Nisa was revealed after the cow, so it was necessary that its revelation be late for the migration for a long time, and the public said: It was revealed after the family of Imran, and it is known that the family of Imran was revealed in the year three, i.e. after the battle of Uhud, so it is necessary that Surat al-Nisa’ was revealed after it, and the reading of Ibn Masoud was chosen to be the subject of our research because of the importance of Ibn Masoud in the narration of the Quranic readings, and it is often mentioned Scholars in the field of interpretation read abnormal Quranic readings to clarify the meaning of the verse, not to worship it, and this is the matter of Ibn Masoud’s reading, peace be upon him, because most of it was abnormal, and I showed that in the investigations while talking about that. One of the importance of the reading of Ibn Masoud, may God bless him and grant him peace, is that it is considered one of the exegetical readings that the commentators cite in their interpretations, although some of the places he cited are correct and frequent, and this increases the importance of the subject.
