Arab Issues in the Non-aligned Conferences 1955-1979

Abstract
This study sheds light on the Arab concerns discussed at the Non-Aligned Conferences between 1955 and 1979, which had significant regional and global ramifications. The movement was instrumental in advocating for Arab causes and their inherent right to self-determination. The study utilized a historical, descriptive, and analytic methodology to investigate the historical occurrences associated with Arab concerns in the Non-Aligned Conferences in order to determine the contribution of the Non-Aligned Conferences to the deliberation of Arab issues.
The study yielded multiple findings, with the Non-Aligned Movement's support for liberation and independence in Arab nations being the most significant. The organization's initiative in tackling these issues at its conferences served as evidence of this support. In addition, the Non-Aligned Movement opposed attempts by colonial nations to undermine the sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of Arab nations and asserted their right to exercise freedom, independence, and sovereignty without external interference.
