Abstract

The Ten Plagues are the miracles that God Almighty sent to the land of Egypt during the era of the Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) because of the infidelity and obstinacy of Pharaoh and his people, and their refusal to release the Israelites from slavery. These Plagues were also directed at the various gods of the Egyptians, who stood helpless in front of them and could not protect the people from the wrath of the Lord, to announce that there is one god worthy of worship without the other false gods that the Egyptians worshiped. These Plagues were mentioned in detail in the Book of Exodus from the Torah. And they were also mentioned in the Holy Quran in the name of (The Nine Miracles), which God supported Moses (peace be upon him) as a validation for his call and punishment for Pharaoh and his people. In this research I dealt with these Plagues and Miracles as they came in the two sources, and showed the similarities and differences between them, and I mentioned the manifestations of deviation in some texts of the Torah in comparison with what was mentioned in the Holy Quran, which God Almighty preserved from misrepresentation and alteration. And this research included three demands, I stated in the first demand: the meaning and cause of the Ten Plagues. And I stated in the second demand: The Ten Plagues in the Torah. And in the third demand I stated: The Nine Miracles of Moses (peace be upon him) in the Holy Quran.
