الملخص
يعد النشاط الزراعي ذات اهمية كبيرة في العراق بشكل عام ومنطقة الدراسة بشكل خاص, اذ ركزت دراسة هذا البحث على محصول زراعي مهم في البلد, اذ تعد منطقة الدراسة من اشهر مناطق العراق لزراعة محصول الرمان من حيث الانتاج ونوعية وجودة المحصول. كما انها تنتج اصناف ممتازة من محصول الرمان, وان اغلب المساحات الزراعية تعتمد على مياه العيون والينابيع في عملية ارواء محصول الرمان. حيث تباين توزيع المساحات المزروعة واعداد الاشجار لمحصول الرمان ما بين منطقة واخرى وهذا ناتج عن عوامل عديدة (طبيعية وبشرية), كما ساعدت ملائمة الظروف الجغرافية الى انتاج اصناف جيدة, ساهمت الى الاكتفاء الذاتي من هذا المحصول وتصدير الفائض من هذا المحصول الى جميع المحافظات العراقية, وتعدى تصديره الى خارج حدود العراق وصولا الى بعض دول قارة اوربا. وهذا ناتج من جودة محصول الرمان في حلبجه .
