الملخص
عُرفَ العراق ومنذ القدم بموروثه الحضاري والعلمي العريق الممتد منذ منتصف الألف الرابع قبل الميلاد عندما اكتشف الكتابة، واستمر هذا الموروث بتطوره وسعة انجازاته ليقدم للعالم أولى المؤسسات التعليمية اذ أنشأ حمو رابي (1792_1750ق.م ) مدرستين الأولى في سبار والثانية في كيش ، فضلا عن ذلك قدم العراق للعالم أقدم التشريعات القانونية فاصدر أربعة قوانين تعد بحق أقدم وأكمل قوانين مكتشفة لحد الآن .
إن بحثي الموسوم (المراكز التعليمية ودورها في نهوض الحركة الفكرية في المجتمع العراقي ) يهدف إلى توضيح الوسائل التعليمية في العراق ودورها وتأثيرها على الأجيال المعاصرة والمستقبلية وحثهم على تقديم الأفضل ، وانطلاقا من أهمية ما ذكرناه فقد اثبت الإنسان العراقي قدرته للتواصل مع الماضي واستلهام موروثه الحضاري لبناء حاضره ومستقبله لاسيما ما يتعلق منه بالجانب التعليمي والأكاديمي
