جورج شولتز ودوره الاقتصادي في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية (1969-1974)

الملخص
تعد شخصية جورج شولتز من الشخصيات المهمة في التاريخ الامريكي, لذيوع صيته القوي والحسن في الولايات المتحدة الامريكية ، فضلا عن انه شخصية سياسية معروفة و رجل اقتصادي بارز من الطراز الرفيع ،وقد حصل على البكالوريوس في الاقتصاد عام ١٩٤٢كماحصل على الدكتوراه في الاقتصاد عام ١٩٤٩ بمرتبة الشرف ، وعمل بعد ذلك استاذا جامعيا للاقتصاد في معهد ماساشتوستس للتكنولوجيا ، واشرف على طلبه الدراسات العليا، والف العديد من الكتب في الاقتصاد والعمل ،فضلا عن عمله كأستاذ فقد عمل مع العديد من الشركات التجارية كمحكم في قضايا النزاع التي تخص المال والاعمال ، وفي عام ١٩٥٦ رشح لكي يكون عضوا في المجلس الاقتصادي تحت ادارة الرئيس ايزنهاور ، ومن ثم في عام ١٩٦٢ اصبح عميدا لكلية الدراسات العليا في جامعة شيكاغو، ورشحه الرئيس الامريكي ريتشارد نيكسون عام ١٩٦٩ لكي يكون وزيرا للعمل ، ومن ثم اصبح مديرا لإدارة الميزانية في الحكومة نفسها عام ١٩٧٠، وبعدها وزيرا للخزانة عام ١٩٧٢، انتقل شولتز بين الوزارات وفي كل وزارة تسلمها كانت له بصمة فيها ودور وعمل بإخلاص وتفان وسخر خبرته للعمل الوزاري والنهوض بكل ادارة تسلمها حتى استقالته من وزارة الخزانة عام ١٩٧٤والتوجه للعمل الخاص .
