الملخص
فرضت الحماية الفرنسية على تونس منذ عام 1881 اذ لم يكن التعليم غائباً عن البلاد قبل تلك الحقبة فاحتوت البلاد على عدد من المدارس الدينية والقرآنية وأهمها جامع الزيتونة الذي يعد من اشهر المدارس الاسلامية، وبعد الاحتلال الفرنسي حاول المحتلون تغيير مفاهيم التعليم من خلال ادخال المناهج الغربية والتضييق على المدارس الاسلامية من اجل دفع الشعب التونسي للعزوف عنها، وفي هذا البحث سنسلط الضوء على التعليم في تونس منذ عهد الحماية الفرنسية ولغاية عام 1938.
