Main Article Content
Abstract
The study aims to investigate the effect of the RAFT strategy on biology achievement and reading motivation among third-grade middle school students. An experimental approach was adopted,
with equivalent groups and a post-test for biology achievement and a reading motivation scale. The study sample consisted of third-grade male students in a day school affiliated with the Baghdad/Rusafa II Education Directorate, divided into two classes. The students were selected from a community consisting of middle and secondary schools for boys within the directorate. The results showed that students in the group taught according to the RAFT strategy outperformed students in the control group on achievement test and reading motivation.
