Geographical Analysis of the Social Relations of Families in Vertical Housing: A field Study of Al-Naft Neighborhood Residential in Baiji

Abstract
Vertical housing is considered one of the most important types of housing from a geographical standpoint, for several reasons, including the effective exploitation of space. Vertical housing allows for the effective exploitation of space, as several floors can be built on a small area, which reduces urban expansion and helps preserve green spaces, as well as reducing costs, as vertical housing reduces construction and operating costs, as several residential units can be built on the same land, which reduces construction and maintenance costs vertical housing is a type of housing characterized by the presence of vertical or multiple roofs in one building. Our geographical study focuses on vertical housing in the Al-Naft neighborhood residential area, and analyzing the geographical, social and economic factors that affect the distribution and development of this type of housing.
