The Reality of Implementing Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4.7) by Primary School Teachers in Curricula: A Field Study in Basic Education Schools in Hama City

Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the reality of implementing Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4.7) by primary school teachers in Syria’s curricula. A descriptive methodology was employed, with a sample of 310 teachers randomly selected from basic education’s primary school.
Key Findings:
- Axis 1: Teachers’ awareness of SDG 4.7 concepts was high.
- Axis 2: Teachers’ practices in applying SDGs were moderate.
- Axis 3: Obstacles to implementing SDGs were significant.
Recommendations:
- Design practical guides linking SDG concepts to Syrian curricula.
- Develop comprehensive training programs for teachers on SDG implementation.
