Abstract

The current research deals with the healthy social Isolation during COVID-19 Pandemic among University Students. The sample of the study entails (4659) male and female university students who study at scientific and humanitarian faculties.  The objectives of the research are achieved by adopting the strategy of correct social isolation. The research aims to identify the level of healthy social isolation under COVID-19 Pandemic among university students, the level of healthy social isolation according to the bases of of gender (male-female), and specialization (scientific, humanitarian). After analyzing the data statistically, the researcher reached the following results:

  1. The level of social healthy isolation among the sample members is low, and the reason may be due to the availability of social media that leads to an acceptable level of communication among students.

  2. Females have a higher level of social health isolation than males. The reason may be attributed to the fact that females are more committed to health directives than males, and females are less free than males to go out, move and meet with friends and colleagues outside home.

  1. There are no differences, according to the scientific and humanitarian specialization, to adhere to the health directives and habits, and this is due to the nature, structure and culture of the healthy society.
